My wife Melissa and I have been a resident of Maryland and the Forest Lakes Community since 2003. Together we have two lovely girls, Rachel and Lauren. I'm passionate about serving our Forest Lakes community. I'll do my best to help maintain its value and make it better community for all. I'm originally from the Pittsburgh area; Big Steeler Fan and a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology. I am currently employed as Plant Manager for a national label printer. My interests are, all types of woodworking and spending time with my family and friends.
Thanks for the opportunity to serve the Forest Lakes Homeowners Association. I am ready to enthusiastically support and continue the efforts of the board to make our community a safe, pleasant and fulfilling place to live. Our family moved to the community in 2002 but the household has changed since then. Our children range in age from 23 to 33 so my wife Donna and I and our youngest son are now the only permanent denizens. Most of my career has been spent working for DuPont in their Agricultural Products business. Among my interests, I enjoy bicycling around the county and searching out good places to eat with family and friends.
My wife JoAnne and I joined the Forest Lakes community in 2001. We chose to build a home and raise our five children here based on the strong community and excellent school system. I have been a civilian employee at the Edgewood Area of Aberdeen Proving Ground since 1983. I enjoy following my children's sporting endeavors and I am an avid runner. I am looking forward to serving on the board and contributing my time to the community.
I have lived in Forest Lakes with my family for 7 years. It has been a privilege to contribute and serve as the President of our Homeowners Association. Some of my strengths that I bring to our Board are my judgment and problem solving skills. I will do my best to improve and maintain the value, quality and safety of our neighborhood.
I have lived in Forest Lakes since 2001 with my wife and since 2007 with my grandson. I am a retired U.S. Army Reserve Licensed Practical Nurse (31 years served) and a retired Chemical Engineer / Project Manager from the U.S. Army Chemical Materials Agency at the Aberdeen Proving Ground (25 years served), MD.
My wife is a Registered Nurse and my two sons are both Eagle Scouts and Academy graduates; one from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London, CT, and the other from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY.
I am a substitute teacher in Harford County, a trained Boy Scout leader with Troop 238, Hickory, MD, a former board member and architectural committee chair with the Laurel Valley Home Owners Association, a past president of the Harford Technical High School PTSA and the Harford Tech Cobra Boosters, and a former board member of the Greater Baltimore Youth Orchestra.
I care about my family, my grandson's upbringing, my neighborhood school, my neighborhood, my Community, my County, and my Country. I stay conversant with my memberships in various Toastmaster organizations since 1984, and I constantly try to improve my reading and academic skills. I have prepared, monitored, and managed complex legal contracts and significant Government programs for the majority of the time I have worked at Aberdeen Proving Ground. My desire is to bring my wealth of experience, management skills, and Interest in family to serve and foster our Community of Forest Lakes.
Hi y'all! My family moved here from Louisville Kentucky in 1999. We bought the last lot on Bay Meadows Ct and have been here ever since. We brought two of 3 daughters with us and finally convinced the oldest to move to Maryland in 2012. We are officially all here now as Marylanders. My youngest just graduated Towson with a degree in music. My two older daughters live nearby with their families. I have two grandsons with my oldest and two granddaughters with my 2nd daughter. I'm a financial services professional at New York Life. My wife Kathleen works at United Health Care doing utilization review. We're proud to be homeowners in the Forest Lakes subdivision. I look forward to helping out on the board to help keep Forest Lakes among the best of communities in the area. Please call on me with anything you'd like to share.
